We are currently looking for an Entrepreneurship Advisor to support clients in the business start-up and management process. The organization wishes to have a versatile, open advisor profile that adapts to the changing needs of clients.

Company description:

Immediate supervisor: head of services

The advisor recruits, accompanies future and new entrepreneurs in their search for information, technical and strategic support necessary for the start-up or management of their business activities The advisor collaborates with partners to create winning conditions favoring self-employment through self-employment and business creation.

Support for entrepreneurs:

  • Recruit and support future and new entrepreneurs in Montreal
  • Animating individual business start-up meetings
  • Provide improvement coaching to new entrepreneurs
  • Lead thematic workshops in person and online for the benefit of entrepreneurs
  • Create and strengthen links with the ecosystem of support resources for entrepreneurs
  • Conduct information sessions on public and private support resources for entrepreneurs
  • Provide assistance to external stakeholders in entrepreneurship

Recruitment:

  • Organize entrepreneurship awareness and mobilization events
  • Make representations in events related to entrepreneurship
  • Develop and nurture collaborations with the resource ecosystem
Project development and management:

  • Create new support projects for entrepreneurs
  • Design, develop or modify didactic tools
  • Ensure follow-up and reporting to partners
Administration:

  • Document and maintain client records (CJE Stat)
  • Write and correct documents related to his mandate
  • Participate in the statistical analysis of customer profiles

* Perform any other task related to his function as requested by his immediate superior

Profile wanted:

  • Able to adapt the approach to the client’s needs (intervention, technical assistance, specialized referencing)
  • Able to collaborate on related projects
  • Agile, collaborative, autonomous, positive and committed
REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in a field related to the position (entrepreneurship, administration, marketing, finance, accounting, management, etc.)
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in supporting entrepreneurs (awareness, training, advice), ideally in a multicultural environment
  • Knowledge of analyzing and interpreting a business plan
  • Have an excellent command of the French language, spoken and written; bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work one evening a week and some weekends as needed
  • Possible travel in Montreal for networking
  • Annual salary of $50,437 to $61,452 depending on experience
  • Four weeks of vacation upon hiring and two weeks during the holiday season
